An Era Ends A New Era Begins

During the early 90's Magic Johnson passed the torch to Michael Jordan which signaled an end of the "Showtime" era and the beginning of "Airtime" era in Basketball History.
Now as the era of arguably the "Greatest Formula One Driver" comes to a close; a new era begins, from Michael Schumacher to Fernando Alonso in a thrilling and exciting chase towards the championship which culminated in the final race. In which Schumacher trailing by as much as 25 points mid season but like a true champion charged his way back with 5 straight victories with a few races left in the championship and tied it up until the Japanese Grandprix in Suzuka with a Blown engine also blew his championship hopes.

Michael Schumacher as some of you may argue that he is just but a shadow of the late Great Ayrton Senna and that Schumacher's past actions have tarnished his legacy if you ask me yes he may have done questionable tactics and unsportsmanlike like conduct in and out of the track but one thing you can't take away from the man is his competitiveness and his will to do whatever it takes to win. In addition he has "survive alot of eras" from Alain Prost, Ayrton Senna, Damon Hill, Jacques Villineuve, Mika Hakkinnen to name a few, and he is officially the most successful grandprix driver in history as he shattered almost every record in the books from winning the most grandprix in a season to having the most number of championships seven to be exact.
Fernando Alonso on the other hand is the new bearer of the torch being the youngest grandprix winner and back to back champion he is indeed a fitting successor to his predecessor, being able to handle the pressure of being hounded by the former champion he gained the respect of his peers and rival with his speed and prowess behind the wheel, winning his home grandprix in Spain to the delight of the home crowd. He has definitely proved that he is capable of winning under pressure.

As to Michael Schumacher being the greatest is still subject to debate and will Fernando Alonso surpass Schumacher's Achievements still remains to be seen and only time will tell if his decision to join Mclaren was a wise one but one thing is for sure Formula One is in a new era.

Ok Since hinde pa ko masyadong antok...i'll try to put you guys up to speed... what had happend in the past year since i hardly did any posts.. ill go as i remember... yung mga memorable eh

May-Sept 2005 naka uwi ako ng Pinas so then upon arriving had contact some of my True Friends Gino, jackie and Cuzins etc.

Background recap muna... bad terms kami ng tropa for some reason nakihalo sila sa galit sakin ni Gian... nagkalabuan kami ni Gian right before i left the last time and haven't spoken ever since except lang nung tumawag ako sa dahil sa nangyari sa Ermats nya...soa yun..

Nakipagkita ako sa mga then CSB friends ko (Grad na sila) kasama ko ang aking Sidekick/Pakner na si Hayme so then we went there flagged a taxi i sat in front and Hayme sa likod tanginang yan matandang yun first he started with small talk tapos mamaya napunta na sa chix tapos tangina parang bading na ewan.. LOL so then anyways dumating kami sa CSB nag-antay ng konte tapos nandyan na sila...intro ang sidekick tapos catch up na usap-usap...ang gusto kong mangyari hinde malaman ng "former tropa" ko na naka uwi ako..so i instructed them not to tell them.. but then dumating ang Boy Abunda ng CSB na si Oman!!!! langhiya unang sabi ko pa naman kay Oman wag maingay next thing you know pinagbulgaran nya sa mga tao!! langhiya hehe so then after a few days since si jackie ang isa sa mga pinaka close kong friend na babae she knows my problems with my "former Tropa" so in good faith nung nagtanong si volet ng tungkol sakin kung nakauwi na ko sabi ni Jackie "oo"

So then para magka-ayus kami binigay nya yung number ko nung hiningi ni Volet... hinde ko alam yun ng bigla na lang nakatanggap ako ng tawag... alalang-alala ko pa ang mga pangyayaring yon..Nasa taas ako ng aking silid kasama ang Tropa ng Utol ko at si Hayme na naglalaro ng PS2 ng biglang nag-ring ang aking Cellphone... ng aking tignan ang number ito'y unregistered.. dahil sa aking pagnanais namalaman kung sino ay aking sinagot... (medyo tanda ko pa yung mga sinabi nya)

Ako: "Hello??"
Caller: "Hello Chuck!San ka??"
Ako: "Sa Bahay..."
Caller:"Sinong Kasama mo??"
Ako:"Tropa Ni Utol tapos Pinsan ko.. Sino To?"
Caller:" Si Let.."
Ako:"Ahh Balita???kanino mo nalaman na nandito na ko??"
Let: "Kay Oman tapos kinuha ko yung number mo kay Jackie..."
Ako: "ahhh balita??"
Let: "wala ok lang...uhhmm bale ano kung ano... ok lang ba mag-usap tayo...para magka-ayos na"
Ako: "huh??ahh eh.."
Let: "kasi alam mo yun...tulad nyan kasama mo tropa ng utol mo..kahit papano parang nakakailang yun diba..kasi kahit ako at si wackie mababad trip yung nakikihalo kami sa tropa ng utol namin.."
Ako: "uhmm..sakin ayus lang mag-usap para magka-ayus na...schedule na lang natin..busy kasi ako eh..siguro mga nextweek..."
LEt: "O sige tawagan na lang ingats.."
Ako: "Ok sige ingats.."

Thats how our conversation somewhat flowed...so then i was busy i wanted to attend to my car first to Buy and Install a Carbon Fiber hood... (i'll discuss the acquisition of the Cf hood some other time..) so then that awkward day came...inisched namin.. the plan was to take Cathy home and talk on the way back.. kasama si Wackie nun.. I remember talking and texting Cathy before saying i was kinda hesitant na ilang ako...tapos si wackie pa kasama...eh alam kong bad trip pa yun sakin... which is puzzling at the same time kasi nakisawsaw lang naman sila eh.. imbis na ayusin ang gulo nakihalo pa...

So ayun they picked me up from my house kaka-garahe ko lang ng Auto ko nun ewan ko lang kung napansin nila yung bagong CF hood ko since madilim... I remember... I was wearing my T-mac 4 at Jersey and Shorts at Earrings so then dala ni Let yung Revo nya Maroon Red...up front si Cathy tapos sa likod si Wackie... so then pagpasok ko tahimik lang si wackie snob lang...tahimik ang atmosphere...si Cathy ang unang bumati sakin tapos si Let.. on the way mostly tahimik lang ako...random thoughts going through my head.. had a Drive Thru sa Jollibee The Fort tapos on the way na sa Marikina...hinde masyado kaming naguusap nila Let at Wackie...Si cathy madalas ang nakikipag chat sakin...so then we reached Cathy's house tapos nandun yung Ate ni Cathy na ka-jive ko chit-chat konting kulitan tapos uwian na...the journey home..

Uhmm okay lets start with Thursday... had some fun laro ng Bilyar kasama sila Kuya PJ,Kuya Marlo, EJ, RJ, Miguel,Ryan and other peeps...ok lang masaya nothing unusual hang out lang bilyar tapos i got home read an Email Titled FYI... Turns Out Tita Thelma Died last April 1st...=( May God Bless Her Soul...=(

I feel really bad after learning about it.. medyo masama din ang loob ko since my buddy did'nt tell me about it...she was buried April 6th nalaman ko april 8 na...=( bought a fone card called the next night.. tapos asked him what happend? why he didnt tell me..? how was he?? and stuff like that...not really enthusiastic replies(Normal nya lang ata??????) tapos asked how his family was... Ok lang sakit sa atay ang dahilan na-comatose pa daw si tita before that..=(...tapos tanong sya kung kanino ko nalaman sabi ko kay lette..."ah.. tapos tanong ako kung galit pa ba sya sakin.. (long pause) "OO....Medyo" i said sana magka-ayos na tayo...(Pause...silence) I dont know what il do when i get back specially sabi nya lilipat na daw sila sa Batangas... sabi ko dalaw na lang ako sa kanila pag-uwi ko.. "Kaw Bahala..."

nde ko alam kung saan ako lulugar...will i give space or should i go there and TRY to fix/Salvage our friendship....when i get back or ano?? i know ive been here before; i tried my best with Bay but to no avail... pero im hoping the result on this one will be different pero im split in half... may part of me na I dont want to lower my pride again like last time kasi baka walang mangyari... there's a part of me that wants to try to fix it so that i have a peace of mind when i look back after so and so years and i can tell myself "You Tried Your Best..."

Pero knowing G ewan ko... grabe magtanim ng galit yun... kung sa bahay nga nya kayang nyang alang kausap ako pa kaya??? pero ewan ko ba...turns out his the Real more Stone Cold than i am...bahala na im somehow relieve that he's ok and stuff i just wish i was by his side on one of the times he's gonna need a friend...yun lang siguro ang regret ko...

pero i dont know siguro ever since then i was'nt welcome thinking about it reflecting through the years on how differently they act when im around ewan ko ba.. para bang epal lang ako sa "tropa" parang "transpo lang ako" yun lang i dont want to think about it that way i want to think about it as a genuine friendship while it lasted...pero i dont know right now that's how i feel...

realistically speaking...sakin nde ko alam im thinking about wat ifs scenarios pero i wanna try to think positive and be optimistic about it..siguro kung nde man mangyari ang inaasahan ko...i just wanna have the peace of mind knowing na i tried my best to salvage the friendship... maybe they'll see me when i race in Batangas Racing Circuit and maybe then they'll tell somebody that "Ah si JP Bacosa ung Race Car Driver....Barkada ko sya nung High school" ewan ko Bahala na Si Lord....

hey it's been a long while since my lat post anyways!im in my final days of march break.. about a week before i had some midterms and an english proficiency test for Ryerson it was alright i hope...pero im not getting my hopes too high..

so ayun anyways i bought GT4 last week but then the freaking thing wont damn work properly in my o"old" Ps2 console but fortunately EB games let me trade it in for Fight Night Round 2 which has a True Blooded Filipino World Champion Manny "The Destroyer/Pacman" Pacquiao in it! AZTIG!!! ehehe ayun so far all been cool finishing up the game pretty easy...rented Devil May Cry 3 Aztig din!!!ehehe

Anyways some points i had in my mind i've learned na ung "Friend" ko eh my EG Hatchback na.. I was thinking about if ever i went back home will i invite him on track days and Run Wat u Brung Events? well only time will tell...so ayun anyways that all for now..GTG -Peace Out! ICE!

Hey! it's been a long time since ive last posted!!! anyways been kinda busy with school and stuff...but it's ayt..well not really well You see Im Kinda confused about wat I want to Do with my Life...

There's a Part of Me which wants just to Own my Performance Shop and be an Entrepreneur...
Another part of me wants to Fulfill my Lifelong dream of becoming a Race Car Driver, be it in Touring Cars or Formula Cars...and there's a part of me to be something even more than that...

Well I remember what my Dad told me once.."Aim For Excellence and You will go Far Above it,Aim for average and You Will go Far Below it" which i think is True By The way...and try to apply in my life right now...

If I'm Lucky maybe hitting 2 birds with one stone;Like Own a Shop and Race at the same time giving me a Marketing Strategy :D

But Still I'm kinda messed up coz there's this Character Flaw of mine which always wants the easiest way out of things in anything i Do...and It's hard to change although i want to...

And one more thing I keep on telling myself to Thrive on Pressure and be more Competitive with all I do..but somehow i end up going against a brickwall...

Plus just thinking about how hard it is to Apply to a Good university much more Stay in it is kinda Pressuring me more...and comparing it from a College which is by the way,more Easy Go lucky type of thing...is like comparing Apples to oranges or More appropriately Chocolate and Shit! and Im not exaggerating at all!!

This Happened During 1st Year HighSchool...I'll Summarize the Story na lang mahaba eh..=D Our Section had an Interaction with C.S.R(Colegio De Sta. Rosa) tapos in short(modesty aside) naging Heart Rob ako sa Section namin (wag na umangal ksi totoo promise!honest!!)...and then there was this Classmate of mine lets call him D. as far as I can Remember D. Approached me one time tapos humingi ng tulong sakin about a girl from the Interaction...lets call her J. anyways si D. may Crush kay J. tpos si J. my crush sakin!(ehem!Heartrob nga kasi ako nun!kulit mo!ayaw ksing maniwala eh!!Modesty Aside!=p)

I know i have'nt been posting lately...ala lang medyo tinatamad lang ako ehehe...anyways Last week was a Bummer Week start na ng New Sem pero kakupalan ang sked ko dis SEM!!!PUTA!!leche!!ehehe well enough of my Ranting..Ill Try to change it tommorow ehehehe tried once but it only made it worse!!! :(

Anyways Ive been thinking about whats ahead this New Year...I hope It will turn out better than last year...I'm pretty Optimistic...about it really...

Basta Excited na kong matapos kagad tong Sem na to at mtapos na ung Course ko!!hopefully this is my Last Semester for my Current Course..=D and then move on to another one..I hope my Desire and Drive to finish my current and future studies will still be Burning till the fat lady sings!! :D

Well it's another day well wasted...just sat on my Bum Ass the whole day!bored and lonely is the word..I feel Lonely and Depressed all of a Sudden maybe becoz of all those Nostalgia thats in My Head...Thinking about The good old days with the "tropa" and Latest I heard one of them is a Father already..dont know kung ninong ako well im not getting my Hopes up pero swerte nung batang un kung ako maging Ninong! Dollar ang Regalo! =D ehehe...Bottom line life sucks sometimes...

I hope this Anxiety,Loneliness and Depression feeling will pass soon so that i can do something worthwhile..I wish i had somebody to talk to someone i can just relate 2 or something...

Just had the Most BORING CHRISTMAS EVER IN MY ENTIRE EXISTENCE!!!just had the usual Noche Buena tpos un just like any other Night nood TV laro PS2 un lang!!grabe super duper boring!!!as in!!

I've been thinkin'...about how was the year 2004 for me..had some Triumphs here and there...had some Challenges too in this roller coaster kind of life...Changes here n there madami nagbago sa loob ng isang taon...alot has change(tulad ng ibang tao).. some i like, some i don't I gez people including me are resistant to change...Pero i Know God has His Reasons for that it's for the better...I gez thats wat u Life..Change is Inevitable Life will always change may u like it or not...SomeChanges is wat I call Man's Strive for Perfection...Some Changes u can Control some U can't..

Anyways I'm looking forward to the Challenges of the year 2005; To Star Anew...and i hope its gonna be a better Year for me...Im looking forward to meet new people; earn new friends(for life)..And I hope i can Graduate by April!!and go Back Home!!!

I had this Encounter or Experience Watever...ehehe
Well here it goes..Iwas coming home from school one Friday Afternoon i gez it was 3-3:30pm na wen i got into Dundas West Station on my way to Dundas Station i dont know why i thought about a "wat if Situation.."What will i do if somebody comes up to me and ask for my number/name..."i recalled my Brothers Exp. sa Pinas in a Billiard hall where a Waiter ask my bro for his name coz somebody apparently wanted to know..thinking it was somebody gay(lolz) he Declined to answer after the waiter declined to answer of hu wanted to know.. in a sense parang kinutuban ako the same instinct that always tells me somthing is going to be wrong like wat happend before with my EX...

anyways back to my story Then i went up the Stairs while going up the Stair case I heard a group of girls joking around they were flips As i was approaching the Top I saw the Girls who were talking and One of them waved Hi! thinking it was a Neighbour of mine i said and waved Hi..and then they started giggling...and said(modesty aside)"Ang Cute!"after that i was waiting for the street car...then i heard them approaching coz they were a loud bunch of peeps and i heard them talking about me...and i was hoping they wont see me....

but one of them saw me..and i overheard one of them saying.."lapitan mo na!!!" i was like "shit wat will i do!??!!" then one of them approached me..and asked for my Numbersaying "Hi! Can I get Your Number?...My Friend asks if i can get ur number?"...then i was like "huh?" I was stooped!!ewan ko i was in shock..ksi sa tanang buhay ko eh ala pang girl na ganun ka lakas ang dating sakin sure there were Mystery Girls hu wud call me dati sa House in Manila nde nmn sa nagtataas ng Bangko at nde sa Nagmamayabang...anyways pero iba!!Culture Shock in short...anyways i respectfully"declined her Request.." and somehow im regretting that ehehe

Tapos The whole Barkada was in front of me!and asked for my Name...Tpos I gave my Name siguro dahil sa Nerbyos at Hina ng boses ko eh "J" lang ang nadinig sa "JP" ehehe ayun then they intro themselves tpos ayun sumakay na ko sa Street car na ubod ng tagal umalis and i can still Hear them Talking about me..and they were like "Oh ano Number one mo sya noh?!sunod kay Carlo..." ayun.. tpos I was like "WTF dapat binigay ko mn lng E-mail add ko or ask them for there numbers or E-mail or something!!ang tanga mo!!" ayun ehehe ang kulit noh!? anyways Peace Out!

Well just had some stuff to do..well not really tinatamad lang ako magtype kasi ala akong maisip isulat..ehehe anyways just finished all of my Exams last week..It was Grueling i tell You!!! and the end Result was A D+ sa Elect!! :( pero at Least my A ako sa Fuels!! :D Yipee!! and for that Im 100bucks Richer!!! :D ehehe usapan nmin ni erpat eh!prize ko at motivation ehehe

Played Billiards Downtown hated how i played though!no luck at all pocket from 4-8 and freaking missed the Nine u know wat i mean!... and Man oh man was it Damn Freaking Cold!!! -18 plus wind chill!!and had to wait 30mins for the Stupid TTC Streetcar!!

Went Grocery Shopping yesterday with my Dad and Bro..lotsa food for Christmas ehehe Ice Cream Lasagna Etc.

Ayun Just Thought about the Past Year...how eveything was Good or Bad Challlenges,Triumphs,Tribulations anyways everything has a reason Life is good ad Short so better not waste it.. :)

If I have a wish or two One Will be "sana have everything the way it used to be...meaning have the same relationship with my Tropa the same as before" stuff like dat.. well i gez thats life...

TECHNICAL REGULATIONS

The 2005 Philippine National Touring Car Championship is organized in accordance with the International Sporting Code of the Federation Internationale De L’Automobile (FIA), the General Prescriptions applicable to all FIA Championships, challenges etc run on Circuits, the provisions of the National Sporting Regulations (ASN) in which the Races are held, and these Regulations.

The series will be organized by_________________________a duly registered Motor Sports Club, and the respective Circuit Owners as indicated herein.

The rules and regulations presented below provide a guideline for specifications of items that may be modified. HOWEVER ITEMS THAT DO NOT APPEAR IN THIS RULES AND REGULATIONS DOCUMENT MUST REMAIN AS A STOCK ITEM (AS SUPPLIED BY THE AUTOMOBILE MANUFACTURER). Apart from these, any part worn through use or accident can only be replaced by an original part identical to the damaged part.

All or any modifications not expressly permitted by these Regulations are forbidden.

Any permitted modifications may not give rise to any forbidden modifications.

On the complete car, any nut, bolt, or screw may be replaced by another nut, bolt, or screw, provided that the material, diameter and thread of the original production part is respected unless otherwise allowed under these Regulations.

The Official Scrutinizer (or his nominated deputy) has at all times the right to refuse to allow a car to participate in an event, if in his opinion and in consultation with another official of the Championship or of the event, the preparation or the modifications permitted by these Regulations are not carried out in such a manner as to make the car race-worthy.

At the start of each event, practice or race, all cars must be clean and in good order.

The Organizers reserve the right to forbid cars not meeting this requirement from taking part.IGNORANCE OF THE RULE IS NO EXCUSE AND VIOLATIONS OF THESE RULES SHALL RESULT IN RACE EXCLUSION AND CANCELLATION OF POINTS.

The 2005 Philippine National Touring Car Championship will consist of four Divisions.

Division One

Division Two

Division Three

Division Four

Unless specifically stated the Technical Regulations below apply to all four classes.

ARTICLE 1 ELIGIBLE VEHICLES:

1.1 Cars must be mass-produced, series production cars having at least 4 seats and 2,3,4 or 5 doors.

1.2 Entrants must register the make and model of car they wish to enter with the Organizers. Acceptance of the make and model entered is at the Organizers discretion.

ARTICLE 2 ELIGIBLE DRIVERS

2.1 Division One: Open to drivers holding an International License or an AAP, “Super A”, “A’, “B” or “C” Rated License

2.2 Division Two: Open to drivers holding an International License or an AAP “Super A”, “A’, “B” or “C” Rated License

2.3 Division Three: Open to drivers holding an AAP “A’, “B” or “C” Rated License

2.4 Division Four: Open to drivers holding an AAP “C” or “Novice” Rated License

ARTICLE 3 WEIGHT

3.1 The minimum weight of the car (in kilograms) including the driver, at all times during the event, must not be less than the advertised horsepower of the engine fitted to the vehicle, in HP DIN, multiplied by a factor, as given below, for each class.

3.2 Division One: Advertised horsepower multiplied by a factor of 6.0

3.3 Division Two: Advertised horsepower multiplied by a factor of 6.5.

3.4 Division Three: Advertised horsepower multiplied by a factor of 7.5.

3.5 Division Four: Advertised horsepower multiplied by a factor of 9.0.

3.6 In all Divisions cars fitted with McPherson Strut type suspension may deduct 30 kilograms from their minimum weight.

3.7 In all Divisions cars fitted with a Limited Slip Differential must add 40kgs to their minimum weight.

3.8 The Organizers reserve the right to adjust the minimum weight of a particular model car if, in the opinion of the organizers, that particular model demonstrates an unacceptable performance advantage or disadvantage. The Organizers will announce any such change by means of a competitors’ bulletin. Any change will be made prior to the first practice day of an event and will not be made once the first practice of an event has begun.

3.9 If a car finishes in the following positions, for all Divisions, the corresponding “Handicap” weight will be added to the car for the next round.1st in Division: 20 kilos2nd in Division: 15 Kilos3rd in Division: 10 Kilos

3.10 If a car finishes in fourth place in Division or lower it will be allowed to remove 10kgs from the handicap weight.

3.11 The maximum handicap weight a car will carry is 60 kgs, subject to Article 2.8 above not being applied.

3.12 If ballast has to be added to the vehicle it must be secured in the cockpit in the passenger’s location and according to the specifications of Appendix J Article 253-16 of the FIA International Sporting Code. The securing system must allow the fixing of seals by the scrutinizers and must be designed such that tools are required for its removal.

3.13 In all calculations, the following conversions shall be used:1 kilogram = 2.2046 pounds1 HP SAE = 1.0137 HP DIN1 Kilowatt = 1.3596 HP DIN1 PS = 1 HP DIN

ARTICLE 4 ENGINE

4.1 Engine capacity is free. Forced induction (such as turbo charging and supercharging) is NOT.

4.2 It is permitted to replace the original engine with another engine from the same variant of that model. If an engine is replaced with an alternate engine, the drive train must be the standard system that comes with that engine.

4.3 Honda Type R Engine and its parts are not allowed. Cars fitted with the Honda B16A engine will carry an additional weight penalty of 30kgs.

4.4 Block: A re-bore of 0.5mm is allowed in relation to the original bore size. Re-sleeving of the engine bore is allowed within the same conditions as prescribed for re-boring. The sleeve material must remain the same as that of the original engine.

4.5 Pistons MUST BE OEM part.

4.6 The crankshaft and the connecting rods must be STOCK TO ORIGINAL OEM SPECIFICATION.

4.7 Cylinder head and or engine block MUST REMAIN AS STOCK TO ORIGINAL OEM SPECIFICATION. You can remove up to a maximum of 20 thousand of an inch/or 0.50mm in total.

4.8 Ignition: The make and type of spark plugs and high tension leads are free. Modifications to the advance curve of the distributor is permitted provided the distributor is the original part. The ignition components in the electronic control unit are free . Sensors and actuators on the input side must be standard, and must retain their function.

4.9 Cooling System: The thermostat is free or may be removed. The temperature at which the fan cuts in is free. All water by pass hoses on the engine block and cylinder head may be sealed off. Locking system for the radiator cap is free. Radiator oil is free. Radiator may be modified or replaced. Radiator hoses are free .Additional heat exchanger for oil and water are allowed. radiator fan / additional cooling fans are allowed. Water pump must be stock.

4.10 Induction System: The engine air CLEANER system IS FREE. HOWEVER, THE INTAKE MANIFOLD AND INJECTORS MUST BE STOCK. Any Ram-Flow system is not allowed . Air cleaner must remain within engine bay. Ducting supplying air to the intake system is not allowed.

4.11 Lubricant System: The fitting of baffles in the oil sump is allowed, using the original oil pan. The oil pump strainer can be modified. Oil pump is free provided that it is internal wet sump type mounted in the original position. Dry sumping is not allowed. Replacement Oil filter cartridge of any brand is permitted. It is permitted to install an oil cooler.

4.12 Fuel Injection: The original system must be retained and the number of injectors must remain the same. Components of the injection system situated downstream of the Air-flow measuring device, and which control the quantity of petrol entering the combustion chamber CANNOT be modified or replaced.

4.13 ECU: The Electronic Control Unit (s) (ECU) for injection and ignition systems are free and may be replaced.

4.14 Pit lane speed limiters, launch control, traction control and telemetry are NOT allowed.

4.15 Input sensors are free provided that they are non-performance enhancing and conform to all other Technical regulations.

4.16 Fuel pumps are free and may be modified.

4.17 The exhaust system must exit at the rear of the car. Internal matching of exhaust ports is NOT permitted . The Stock exhaust manifold must remain stock until first connecting point from exhaust manifold. After exhaust manifold joint or flange, exhaust system is free with the exit at the rear of the car

4.18 The clutch plate and pressure plate are free provided they fit the original fly wheel, which may be lightened. The number of the clutch plates must be as original. The OEM flywheel must be retained and can be modified but must weigh a minimum of 5kgs. After market Flywheel is not allowed. No additional weight can be fitted on the OEM flywheel.

4.19 “The material of the engine mounting may be changed but the number of engine mountings must remain standard as must the location, size and shape. However in the event that the engine mountings and/or their location, size or shape has to be changed to accommodation an engine change as specified in Article 4.2 of these regulations, the changes will be allowed. The changes must be for the sole purposes of fitting the alternative engine. It will be the competitors responsibility to satisfy the Series Scrutinizers that the modifications are for this purpose only and that they are not to gain a performance advantage through lowering or moving the engine and drive train. The competitor may appeal to the Organizing Committee if the Series Scrutinizers do not accept the modifications. The Organizing Committee’s decision will be final.”

4.20 Fluid lines are open provided that they conform with FIA Regulations.

4.21 Battery make, capacity and cables are free. The location is free but if located in the cockpit it must be enclosed in a box made of ferrous material. It must be possible to start the engine at all times by means of the on-board battery.

4.22 The alternator must be standard and must be functional at all times as foreseen by the manufacturer.

4.23 Engine Crankcase Ventilation system is free.

4.24 Valve Spring Rates must be as stock and cannot be modified. Titanium valve spring retainers are allowed.

ARTICLE 5 TRANSMISSION

5.1 The gearbox must be standard. The gearbox may be replaced with another Original equipment (OEM) gearbox from the same car variant whether of local or foreign origin in Divisions One and Two. The gearbox must remain standard OEM for the engine fitted to the vehicle entered in Divisions Three and four. It must originate from the same manufacturer and the same model. TYPE R Transmissions are allowed. All non-Honda Vehicle makes must use standard gearboxes with OEM gear ratios as specified by the manufacturer for that gearbox. However the final drive on all vehicles may be replaced to a maximum of 4.4:1.

5.2 Gear ratios must be declared by the Entrant of each vehicle entered and the declared ratios must be approved by the Organizing Committee. Once the ratios have been approved they may not be changed or altered without the written approval of the Organizing Committee. Changes will only be granted in exceptional circumstances.

5.3 An existing production automatic gearbox of a model may be replaced by a manual gearbox specified by the original car manufacturer for the model and vice – versa.

5.4 It is freely permitted to install a limited – slip differential in the production drive axle housing. Cars running a limited-slip differential must add 40kg of ballast as per article 2.7 of these regulations. Cars fitted as standard with electronic traction control must have this disabled by removal of the management system and its sensors.

5.5 Six speed gearboxes are allowed but competitors may not switch from a six speed gearbox to a five speed gearbox, or vice versa, from the first race to the last race of the Championship.

5.6 If a vehicle is fitted with a transmission that does not conform to Article 26 of this document it will NOT be allowed to compete.

Article 6 SUSPENSION

6.1 The suspension may be lowered or raised provided the system and mounting location are not changed.

6.2 Front and Rear Camber adjustment are free. Adjustable camber plates may be used. Any type of bearing or bushing attachment may be used with the adjustable camber plate and a washer may be installed between the plate and the body. The original upper strut mounting holes located in the body may be slotted, but the central clearance hole must not be altered. Only one of the lower mounting holes connecting the strut to the wheel hub may be slotted.

6.3 Dampers are free, provided that their number, their type, their working principle(hydraulic, friction etc.) and their attachment points remain unchanged.

6.4 It is permitted to change a silent bloc (Rubber bush) for uniball joint, but only on condition that the damper has no guiding function.

6.5 Gas-filled dampers are considered to have the same working principle as hydraulic dampers.

6.6 Dampers with exterior reservoirs are not allowed.

6.7 If it is necessary when replacing the damping element of a Mac Pherson strut or similar suspension device, to replace the whole suspension strut, the replacement must be mechanically equivalent and use the same mounting points as the original production units. In McPherson suspensions, the shape, dimension and material of the spring seats is free and they may be adjustable .

6.8 In the case of hydro-pneumatic suspension the volume, shape and material of the spheres may be changed not their number.

6.9 Springs are free. Adjustable spring seats are permitted.

6.10 Rear Anti roll bar is free provided that it is not adjustable from the cockpit. It is freely permitted to exchange the production anti –roll bars for others. Provided these are mounted in the production locations and fit to the original mounting points without modification. Anti –roll bars must be made of steel and may not be adjustable from the cockpit. Cars without a rear anti-roll bar may install.

6.11 Rubber suspension bushes, to the original shape and dimension may be retained, and may be replaced by other rubber suspension bushes of the original shape and dimension. Engineering Plastic bushing is allowed.

6.12 Track is free. Wheel spacers are permitted.

6.13 It is permitted to install a device(s) to prevent dislodgment of the springs from their locations.

6.14 It is permitted to use a strut brace on the front and rear which may be fitted between the top mounts of the suspension. Its mountings may be bolted or welded to the top mounts. However, if bolted, it must utilize the strut mounting bolts in their original location or as allowed by these regulations. The mounting bolts may be changed to longer bolts of the same diameter.

ARTICLE 7 BRAKES

7.1 Brakes discs, calipers, and brake drums are free but must be OEM and single piston.

7.2 Brake pads and linings are free provided that the contact surface of the brakes is not increased.

7.3 Brake backing plates may be modified or removed.

7.4 Anti-lock Braking Systems (ABS) are not allowed and if fitted must be disconnected.

7.5 Brake lines may be changed for aviation type .

7.6 Brake Cooling: A flexible pipe may be used to bring air to cool the brakes. No part of the pipe must extend beyond the periphery of the car, as seen from above . Flexible brake cooling pipes may be removed to pass minimum ride height inspection. Holes may be cut in the front bumper to accommodate flexible brake cooling hose.

7.7 If a vehicle is fitted with brakes that do not conform to Article 7, It will NOT be admitted to compete.

ARTICLE 8 WHEELS AND TIRES

8.1 The following approved radial tires must be used as supplied by the manufacturers appointed by the Organizers. The organizers reserve the right to nominate alternative tires/compounds, should they in their absolute discretion decide. The make and specification of tire is : Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd.Front Tires - Rear Tires:

8.2 Hand cutting of tires is not allowed.

8.3 The application of any material (liquid, solid, gas) to any part of the tires is forbidden. The only exceptions are the use of pure or domestic water for cooling and lubricant applied to the tire bead for fitting purposes .

8.4 For each car inspected by official scrutineering a maximum of 6 tires per meeting is permitted. The 6 tires must be marked at official scrutineering . The marking will be specified to each car. At the same time at official scrutineering, the specific numbering of the tires for each car will be recorded . Only tires which have been specifically marked for a specific car for that specific event, may be used during the course of that meeting .Tires, which have been marked and used at a previous race meeting may only be used if they have been re-marked at official scrutineering for the meeting taking place. However, in the event of a qualifying session or race being declared wet by the Clerk of Course, unmarked tires may be used in the declared wet qualifying session or race only.

8.5 Should a tire be accidentally damaged or punctured , it may be replaced only under supervision and agreement of the eligibility scrutinizer and will be marked accordingly. The scrutinizer is empowered to decide whether the relevant tire may be replaced or not. The scrutinizer’s decision is final.

8.6 If a competitor exceeds the six (6) assigned tires, even with permission of the scrutinizer , the competitor must start at the back of the grid. If a competitor is found to have unmarked tires fitted at post race scrutinizing he will be excluded from the results.

8.7 Wheels must be made of a metallic material and be one piece.

8.8 15-inch wheels up to a maximum of 7.0 = J are permitted provided that they may be housed within the original bodywork, subject to Article 10.2 below ; this means that the upper part of the complete wheel located vertically over the wheel hub center, must be covered by the bodywork when measured vertically .

8.9 It is permitted to replace wheel fixings by bolts with studs and nuts, provided that the number of fixing points is not altered and the diameter of the parts that may be bolted on.

ARTICLE 9 BODYWORK (Interior)

9.1 The steering wheel is free but must have a continuous rim. The steering lock mechanism must be rendered inoperative.

9.2 The drivers seat must be changed for an FIA Certified Racing Seat. Its position must remain within the limit of adjustment of the original seat.

9.3 The passenger seat and rear seat may be removed .

9.4 All coverings, including the heading, sound deadening material, the standard seat belts, the rear parcel shelf and the carpets, may be removed .

9.5 The center console may be removed.

9.6 The central locking system may be removed.

9.7 It is authorized to replace the electric window winders with manually operated winders.

9.8 Additional measuring instruments and counters that do not enhance performance may be fitted . No type of data transmission from the moving vehicle is permitted. Impulse senders for lap timing devices are permitted, as long as these are not connected to the engine management system. On board data acquisition systems are permitted.

9.9 Plates may be attached to the pedals and a drivers footrest fitted.

9.10 The Air conditioning system may be removed, but adequate provision for windscreen de-misting must be maintained.

9.11 The spare wheel may be removed, the jack and tools must be removed.

9.12 A roll cage to a minimum of FIA GROUP N Specifications must be fitted. Mounting points may be welded to the body as well as being bolted . A rear transverse cross bar fitted to the roll cage will not be treated as reinforcement to the rear suspension mounting point.

9.13 The function of all controls must be as foreseen by the manufacturer . It is permitted to make controls more easily usable and/or accessible (ex. by lengthening the handbrake)

9.14 It is permitted to change a left hand drive car to right hand drive, and vice versa, using corresponding parts, which are available for the model concerned.

9.15 Hubcaps must be removed.

9.16 The fitting of dark tinted windows or the tinting of windows with dark films or mirror tint is not allowed. A sun strip of maximum height 12” may be fitted to the top of the front and rear windows.

9.17 Any interior fitting not listed in Article 9 may be removed subject to the scrutinizers approval.

ARTICLE 10 CHASSIS and BODYWORK (EXTERIOR)

10.1 Any references to the bodywork in these regulations include Chassis or body shell.

10.2 Body kits (front dam, side skirts, rear wing) MUST be fitted in Divisions One and Two. The body kit must be submitted to the Organizer for homologation. The rear wing must not extend more than 100mm beyond the bodywork of the car and the overall width must be not less than 85% and not more than 90% of the width of the car with a tolerance of 16mm. Wheel arch extensions may be fitted front and rear but they must not extend more than 50mm beyond the original bodywork and they should follow the contours of the original bodywork. The Bodywork in Divisions Three and Four must remain standard.

10.3 It is permitted to use lightweight body panels. The doors hood and trunk lid may be replaced by lightweight panels of the same pattern as the original . The pattern and material of the front bumper / spoiler, side skirts, rear bumper and rear wing are free. If the driver’s door is lightened a protective cross brace, as part of the roll cage, must be fitted.

10.4 The body shell may be seam welded.

10.5 Insulation or corrosion protection materials may be removed.

10.6 It is strongly recommended that a laminated front windscreen be fitted. The door, side and rear glass may be replaced with clear polycarbonate / lexan or acceptable material . A drivers safety net, to current FIA standards, on the drivers side must be used when drivers window is down.

10.7 It is permitted to fold back the steel edges or reduce the plastic edges of the wings if they protrude inside the wheel housing.

10.8 Sound deadening material and plastic liners may be removed from the wheel arch area.

10.9 External decorative trim parts may be removed. All parts which follow the outer contours of the bodywork and that measures less than 25mm in height, are considered as trim items.

10.10 It is not permitted to add an under tray.

10.11 Wiper blades may be replaced.

10.12 A driver’s and passenger’s door mirror must be fitted but may be modified from OEM.

10.13 The original lighting may be retained or it may be replaced by a light aperture cover. This cover must meet acceptable standards of presentation. If in the opinion of the scrutinizer the cover does not meet an acceptable standard of presentation the vehicle will not pass pre-event scrutineering and may not part in the event. If a competitor wishes he may appeal the scrutinizers decision to the Organizing Committee whose decision will be final. All light apertures must be fully sealed to avoid any ram air effect. All At least one functioning rear, brake light is required . It must be functional at the start of a qualifying session or a race.

10.14 All bodywork requirements, including lighting or replacement covers stated above must be installed on the car at pre-event scrutineering. In the event that any bodywork, including lighting, is damaged during the race meeting it need not be replaced for the remainder of the event if in the opinion of the scrutinizer the damage was accidental and that it is safe for the car to continue with the damaged or missing bodywork. Damaged lights must be covered and the light aperture must be fully sealed to avoid any ram air effect.

ARTICLE 11 FUEL

11.1 An FT3 fuel tank may be fitted either in the original location or in the luggage compartment.

11.2 If the standard tank or an FT3 tank, is fitted, it MUST be separated from the cockpit by a flame proof wall/ casing or cover.

11.3 The capacity of the FT3 fuel tank is free up to a maximum of 60 liters.

11.4 If an FT3 tank is fitted the original tank must be removed.

11.5 Fuel is open, alcohol is not allowed. It must be possible to take 3 liters of fuel at any time during the event.

ARTICLE 12 SAFETY

12.1 It is highly recommended that a plumbed-in fire extinguisher system with separate outlets to the cockpit and engine compartment be fitted. However, as a minimum all cars must be fitted with at least one hand operated fire extinguisher.

12.2 Permitted extinguishers and minimum quantity of extinguisher:BCF (CF3 C 1 Br ) – 4.9 kgsNAF 83 - 3.2 KgsNAF P - 3.2 KgsAFF - 2.4 litersPowder - 2.0 kgs

12.3 Extinguisher must be easily accessible to the driver when he is properly seated.

12.4 Extinguisher shall be securely mounted in the cockpit. Only quick release metal/plastic fastening straps will be acceptable.

12.5 Minimum requirement for seat belts is a 4 point harness conforming to FIA Appendix J. ART 253 6.1 Seat belt mounting points may be strengthened.

12.6 A circuit breaker must cut all electrical circuits and must stop the engine. It must be accessible from inside and outside the car. The outside trigger must be situated on the lower part of the windscreen mounting. It must be marked by a red spark in a white –edge blue triangle with a base of at least 12cm.

12.7 A front and rear towing-eye must be fitted and painted a contrasting color to the body or clearly marked by an arrow.

12.8 Original fasteners must be removed from the bonnet/hood and two fasteners must be fitted to bonnet and boot-lid or tailgate

Just had the Statistics Exam Yesterday...it was all good...i find it easier than expected..i think i did a pretty good job .. =D anyways i just bought a T-Mac Jersey which was 50% off!plus it was the Orlando Magic one! :D and a couple of weeks ago a pair of T-Mac4 shoes :D anyways til here na lang.. -peace out!

Well Been Bus...I just had 2 Final Exams Today! Math 130 and Accounting.. Math was Ok not that hard as i Imagined..but Accounting Damn! missed 24 Marks i Think..oh well thats Life.. Tomorrow Im gonna have Statistics Final Exams but it's Open BOOK! =P lucky me ehehe :D anyways gotta go..-Peace Out!

Well it just another ordinary day for me except that 2 of my classes were cancelled! Engines and Elect. engines was ok coz we were suppose to have a test hehe anyways i just got this cool 2 new Car magazines last monday...I read this segment about JGTC which really intrigues me, Man how i wish i can race professionally and earn money off it too, I think this is one of the ways i can achieve that dream,,or at least a part of it ehehemaybe if i can't go Open-wheel Racing Touring cars maybe the thing for me...ehehe or maybe Drifting :D anyways thats all i have in mind right now.. -Peace Out! :D

Another Day

Well it is yet another day well wasted...nothing extraordinary that i did today, just played Smackdown vs. Raw on PS2 the whole day watched around the world in 80 days on DVD, did the laundry typical Canadian Saturday for me...

Anyways on a serious note.. I was just thinking about my Friends well i should say Former Friends.. the thing is that since the day I came here everything changed...i don't feel that warmth of friendship anymore,i feel abandoned not necessarily betrayed perce but in a sense i feel that way...anyways everything they said to me before i 1st left were lies..kesyo magchchat daw kmi once in a while they'll keep in contact etc...stuff like that did'nt materialize..
I remember one of them saying "Nde ako nagkamali sa pagpili ng Tropa/Barkada" well i guess i am the one who picked the wrong tropa...

The last time i went home for Vacation (May-Sep) everything was not the same...prang na-OOP ako pagksama ko sila...i said to myself siguro dhil tagal akong nwala and mdyo mtagal din kming nde ngkkta ng tropa..pero i was right I felt alienated...iba ung feeling specially kung mgkksama kming lahat...ewan ko ba..hirap i-describe some of them...to quote one of my former buddy's Gf"nakita ko ung gnawa nla syo...Di ba parang iniwan ka nila" which is true i just realized then and there na oo tama ka..iniwan nila ako sa ere...which msakit pro ewan ko..dont get me wrong i am angry pero i dont know wat to do...its just that sila lang ung tinuring kong tunay na tropa...

Anyways thinking about the positive side of things I guess God has His own reasons why im going through this phase in my life..Everything has a reason...i just have to Trust Him...

Pero ngayon plang alam ko na Magka-ayusan man kami nila...sa tingin ko nde ko na mababalik ung dati...ung tiwala at lahat na dati meron sila...

Just Recently i Reconciled with my First True Love....which is the game of Basketball :P

I have'nt played the Game for 2 years++ until 2 days ago...
I felt Rejuvenated since i have'nt had any exercise :D
It was a refreshing Experience too..
